Kinetic Chain Assessment
The KCA is a thorough Lifestyle, Health & Functional Movement assessment that works out the weak links in your body that may be causing your injury problems, limiting your movement potential or even affecting your health! You won’t find anything this comprehensive with any other training provider in Wales. In fact, there are only a handful of KCA Level 3 Specialists in the UK!
The KCA takes approximately 60 – 90 minutes. You will be taken through a thorough personal history plus a range of muscle and joint tests. You will then receive a full report (10 pages +) outlining the findings and our recommendations on how to rectify any issues
The Kinetic Chain Assessment can be taken as a stand alone service. That is, have the assessment to find out how your body is functioning without going on to Personal Fitness coaching. You will need to wear shorts and vest ideally for the assessment
Personal Training
We have a systematised approach to our Personal Training. This means that you will be taken through a tried and tested system of progressive programmes to ensure you are operating at an optimal level in terms of movement, mobility, nutritional, hormonal, psychological and regeneration. After your KCA, we take you through our Mobility Max series of workouts. When you have earned the right to progress (the more you practice, the quicker you move on) you will move on to our Integrated Movement Training (IMT), a controlled multi-directional workout. Once you have mastered this, you will be taken on to the POWER Circuit bodyweight programme – a high octane group of movements that will really challenge you
If you get this far with us, then you will then undertake our Dumb Bell Circuit. Again, this involves controlled full range free weight exercises to challenge the whole body. Don’t worry if you’re not a weights fan, these can involve fairly light weights where the emphasis is on the movement patterns
We then have a range of corrective exercise regimes if that is what you require or we then design you tailored programme
Throughout this process, you will be given homework, in the form of both questionnaires and exercise. You will also be expected to complete a daily journal detailing your sleep patterns, energy levels, food & drink intake and mood. You will have goal setting tasks to perform as we leave no stone unturned to transform you
So from the above description, you should realise that we are not like the average training provider. These will not be one hour beasting sessions but carefully planned out sessions that are guaranteed to get you to your destination by looking at every aspect of you as an individual
Please be aware that we are a professional service provider and as such, we require 48 hours notice for cancellations or the session is forfeited

Small Group Personal Training
If you feel Personal Training is out of your reach or you would actually prefer to train with a friend, we can offer a service where you can train in a group of up to 2 persons. You will still get individualized programmes, work closely with you coach, just not full individual attention. You still have to commit to the same terms as Personal Training but it works out cheaper for you…
Integrated Corrective Therapy
These are manual treatment sessions working the full body to eradicate muscular and joint pain and/or restrictions. The session will be carried out fully on the treatment couch while fully clothed. You will then be taken through the full joint decompression routine starting from the feet and ankles and working upwards. This should free up your mobility and remove tension/restrictions to your lower limbs. This is folowed by hip release then pelvis/sacroiliac, thoracic (mid back), shoulder and cervical areas.
You will also undergo compression techniques to your soft tissues (muscles, tendons) – a sort of dry massage, along with stretching to all your major muscle groups. Many people claim to feel like floating on air after these sessions. The aim is to get your body working optimally so that the exercise/sport you partake in, is done so limiting the likelihood of injury. But, you don’t HAVE to use this service for sport/exercise. It is fantastic for those people who either want to stay in great physical shape and free of pain, or for those that are not physically active because they ARE in pain.
